Since its creation in 1999, the POLIS Research Center of the University of Barcelona has been characterized by an important research work on issues of citizen participation and urban governance, with the particularity that its focus are public art and public space issues, from the consideration of the creative possibilities of the neighbours involved in those participatory processes.
The exhibition shows the processes developed in:
- 1997- 1998 Sant Adrià de Besòs. Social Uses of the Besòs River
- 2001 -2009 Sant Adrià de Besòs. Mapping La Mina
- 2005-2012 Barcelona. Baró de Viver
- 2014 Barcelona. Bon Pastor (ongoing process)
